Chinese/Mongolian text overlaps when importing a DWG file into SmartSketch.

Resolution

When translating an AUTOCAD file to the SmartSketch software, use the “Read Text Fonts” section in the itacad.ini file to map the font names.

The format to be used is:

FontNameOriginal = FontNameMapped: LangId

Ex: For Mongolian text

Arial = Arial:1104

The LangId is a Locale/Language Id specified by Microsoft. For a complete list of available Language Ids, please see the following link.

Cause

Translator configuration files can optionally store the Language Id of the translated font in the Read Text Fonts section. If there is no Language Id in the configuration file, RAD will use the Language Id set under control panel regional settings.
