Create a new Reference Standard Library<\/section>\n
1. Open the StructCrossSections-AISC-LRFD-3.1.xls Excel Workbook located in <Install<\/section>\n
Directory>SmartPlant3D CatalogDataBulkLoadDataFiles.<\/section>\n
2. Copy the CustomInterfaces, W, C, ReferenceStandard, ClassNodeType, R-Hierarchy and the<\/section>\n
GUIDs sheets into a new workbook.<\/section>\n
3. Save the new workbook as CompanyStandardReferenceProject.xls<\/section>\n
4. Go the ReferenceStandard sheet and add\/edit the following entry.<\/section>\n

5. Go the R-Hierarchy sheet and add the following entry.<\/section>\n
<\/section>\n
<\/section>\n
6. Go to the W, and C sheets and change the Reference Standard from AISC-LRFD-3.1 to<\/section>\n
Project-001-AISC-LRFD-3.1<\/section>\n
7. Go to the W sheet and add only the following sections:<\/section>\n

W16X26<\/section>\n
W12X40<\/section>\n
W12X30<\/section>\n

8. Go to the C sheet and add only the following sections:<\/section>\n

9. Save the changes and use the Bulkload Utility to load the new reference standard library.<\/section>\n
Make sure to select the Append Mode. Find your catalog server name and database\/schema<\/section>\n
names from the pull down menus. Obtain these names from the instructor.<\/section>\n

10. Hit \u201cLoad\u201d button. Once the bulkload process is complete, review the log file.<\/section>\n
11. Run the Project Management Task. Select the Model in the hierarchy.<\/section>\n
12. Select Tools -> Synchronize Model with the Catalog.<\/section>\n
13. Uncheck the Synchronize Model with the Catalog option.<\/section>\n

Note: You just need to update the views in the model.<\/section>\n

14. Hit \u201cOK\u201d Button.<\/section>\n
15. Once the process is complete. Right click on the model and select regenerate the report<\/section>\n
database.<\/section>\n
16. Hit \u201cOK\u201d Button.<\/section>\n
17. Once the process is complete. Go to the Structure Task and place the W section from the\u00a0company reference standard library.<\/span><\/section>\n
